Cherish and Judy ate dinner at home while watching World Cup matches, with warm food, drinks, and the match playing on the laptop.
Tai Po Kau Fireflies
Cherish and Judy walked the Brown Trail in Tai Po Kau, saw monkeys, red crabs, a stick insect, tasted rubus berries, and watched fireflies appear around 7 p.m.
Shunde Food and Mango Trip
Cherish took Judy to Shunde for good food, Judy picked up a freshly fallen mango on the road, and the night ended in a hotel with a wide open view.
Diejiao Dragon Boat Race
Before Dragon Boat Festival, Cherish and Judy went to Foshan Diejiao to watch dragon boat racing in a packed, lively crowd.
dididi’s Shenzhen Visit
Judy’s good friend dididi came from Fuzhou to Shenzhen. Cherish, Judy, and dididi played an escape room, then Cherish and dididi spent time with cats.
Tai Mo Shan Fog Hike
Cherish accompanied Judy on a foggy Tai Mo Shan hike, then somehow held back two drunk men who fell onto Cherish on a Shenzhen metro escalator.
Baiyun Mountain Horse Hike
At Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain, Judy had a fever and Cherish wore very slippery shoes, but Cherish and Judy still finished the difficult horse-shaped route together. Cherish and Judy’s first hike for the Year of the Horse.
